Game Update 49 introduced guild halls to Norrath. This quick little guide will explain what we know of various hall amenities items that are of interest to crafters.
Tradeskill Rush Order Agent - this NPC will give you rush orders that are the same as what you would get from your home crafting society rush order NPC (home crafting society faction, status, etc.). The NPC also has work clipboards for sale that can be placed in the hall. Purchase price: 10p and 1,000,000 status. Upkeep: 20g and 5,000 status.
Tradeskill Writ Agent - this NPC will give you work orders (untimed) that are the same as what you would get from your home crafting society work order NPC (home crafting society faction, status, etc.). The NPC also has work clipboards for sale that can be placed in the hall. Purchase price: 10p and 1,000,000 status. Upkeep: 20g and 5,000 status.
Fuel Merchant Hireling - Pretty self-explanatory. He sells fuels and basic cooking supplies at (best) tradeskill society prices. Purchase price: 10p and 1,000,000 status. Upkeep: 20g and 5,000 status.
Tradeskill Recipe Salesman - sells the same recipes to you that a Crafting Trainer would sell you. (i.e., checks your class and offers essentials recipes appropriate to your class, as well as the 1-9 advanced artisan books.) Purchase price: 1p and 100,000 status. Upkeep: 2g and 500 status.
Harvesting Supply Depot - this item will store large amounts of resources for guild use. It will only hold 100 different resources, but it will hold a huge number of units of the item. (20K was what I heard). When crafting in your guildhall, anything in the depot is treated as if it were part of your inventory, and it will use resources from the depot as needed. It will also hold transmuting supplies and alchemy dusts. (Folks in large guilds will likely only want common resources, not rares and such, placed in this container, unless they want all their guildies gobbling it up!) There is also an option when creating an item (right before you click "Begin", to disable the supply depot, if you do not want to use up guild supplies. Purchase price: 25p and 5,000,000 status. Upkeep: 50g and 25,000 status.
(Harvesting) Hireling Select tier and the hireling will obtain 100 pulls (common resources, with, apparently, an amazingly super-slim chance of a rare) of the appropriate resource type, for you every 2 hours. You must hail the NPC to collect the resources and send him out again. Available hirelings are Gatherer (lumber, roots, shrubs), Hunter (fish, dens), and Miner (ore, soft metal & gems). Purchase price (each): 20p and 2,000,000 status. Upkeep: 40g and 10,000 status.
You'll also need to see the faction merchants for elaborate crafting stations, if you're not snagging them from your homes and lugging them over.
