Storybook: The EQ Years

Folks had been asking for more stories from Mum, so I am obliging, if not in the expected manner.

Linked below are stories from my days playing EverQuest, where I was in a role-playing guild full of talented writers and players who spurred my imagination, and who nurtured my desire for many alts "for stories!" Hopefully they will garner a giggle, or a sniffle, depending on the story, and sate some of the demands for "more please!" There were/are more stories than the the three listed below, but I am still digging them back out, and trying to either contact co-authors, or rewrite the pieces on my own. Don't expect activity on this particular front any time soon.

  • Tickled - Niami performs her first tickle-rez, Bristlebane-style
  • The Tale of the Tenderizer - Niami confronts Bristlebane himself regarding a baking supply shortage, and is given the precursor to the now-infamous Rolling Pin of Doom. (This story came about because at EQ launch, the baking supply vendor that was supposed to be in Misty Thicket was missing, or under the world or some other silly thing.)
  • Spiritdance - the tale of a barbarian shamaness who has been spirit-taught the dances of many varied lands.
