Mum has long been infamous for wielding the RPoD (Rolling Pin of Doom) in the small stories that I sometimes add to my previews. It is the bane of troublemakers throughout Norrath, and Mum has been known to rap shins, knuckles and skulls with it depending on the severity of the offense. One year, I even brought a rolling pin with me for my Fan Faire/SOELive costume.
Never, ever, did I expect to receive such a special version of the RPoD from such a fabulous group of folks as I did tonight, though. They literally brought me to tears.
The wooden holder for it has the autographs of the fabulous folks that are part of the EverQuest II team, and even includes Domino's signature. (It makes me wonder how long this has been in the works, as I doubt they shipped it to Canada just to get her to sign it ... did they?)
The wooden rolling pin (pictured by itself at the top), has a ton of fabulous personality to it. It almost makes me want to name each wonderful dent on it for specific troublemakers from her stories. "An' these twa were when Tilly an' Tad caused such a hullabaloo one Nights o' th' Dead."
Seriously, folks, I'm blow away right now.
