Enchanted Lands Recipe Quest Series

There are four quests in Enchanted Lands for recipes (tradeable, lore). These quests, however, require the completion of several adventuring quests first.

You first have to complete three prerequisite quests given by Deputy Huckfar in the Enchanted Lands (+43, +2.6, -408). ("Trainer Woes" - level 34, "It's Not in the Water" - level 34, "A Thousand Words" - level 35). Upon completion of "A Thousand Words" you are sent to Deputy Nettlebrine at the EL docks, where you are offered the quest "Plan the Fundraiser".

Simply visit Deputy Hopple to finish the quest (+171, -0.16, -473). You can then do any (or all) of the four optional trade skill quests listed below. (They do not have to be completed in any specific order, but due to current bugs, you will want to be careful of your completion sequence.)

A word on rewards: Fundraiser One and Fundraiser Three keep the item that you made, and give you a tiny silver reward. Fundraiser Two and Fundraiser Four, which are buggy on a couple fronts (as per below) let you keep the item and give you no coin reward.

Note that in each of the below quests, the desired item(s) can be crafted by you, purchased on the broker by you, or received in email. This allows you to complete all four quests, if you so desire. (Just make sure to heed the warnings about the sequence in which to complete them, and do them 1, 2, 4, 3 order or such.)

Deputy Nettlebrine wants help with fundraisers for the museum she is working on, but she's at a loss for additional ideas. She sends you over to Deputy Hopple in hopes that he has some ideas. It turns out that he does, indeed, have some fundraising ideas, in the form of some items to be auctioned off - and he wants you to obtain the items for him.

Fundraiser One: Apples Away (Hopple's Apple Pie recipe)

The quest name is Fundraiser One: Apples Away, and results in a level 37 (lore, but tradeable) provisioner recipe called "Hopple's Apple Pie Recipe". The recipe creates a level 40 superior food that lasts for 5 hours and 33 minutes and gives a STR and STA boost.

In order to complete this quest, craft or buy (from a provisioner) three wild apple muffins and bring them to Deputy Hopple. He will award you with 2 silver 70 copper, experience and AA (providing the quest was not grey con when you completed it), and the recipe. The muffins are consumed on hand-in.

Fundraiser Two: Sewing a Sampler (Valefolk Shawl How-To)

Fundraiser Two: Sewing a Sampler, results in the lore recipe for the Valefolk shawl, which is a level 34 tailor recipe. In order to complete this quest, you must make or buy a "tailored broadcloth cap."

Note that there are a couple issues with this quest, that can be worked around if you plan ahead

First off, what they really want is the pristine tailored broadcloth cap (since versions without the pristine tag can no longer be crafted.)

The second problem, however, requires planning ahead. While you receive credit in your journal for obtaining the shawl, when you return to the Deputy, he does not have the quest journal completion book over his head, and will not give you your reward after you hail him. However, if you have not completed at least one of the other three fundraisers, you can hail him, accept one of the other quests, then hail him again for your reward for Fundraiser Two.

Quest reward is experience, AA and the Valefolk Shawl How-To. (You receive no coin reward, but get to keep the cap.)

Fundraiser Three: Table for Two (Vale Briarwood Bookcase)

Completion of this quest results in a level 32 carpenter recipe (lore) called Vale Briarwood Bookcase Plans, which creates a furniture item with a rent status reduction of 35.

The quest name is "Fundraiser Three: Table for Two", and it is available from Deputy Hopple in Enchanted Lands only after you complete the above Enchanted Lands quest series.

To complete Fundraiser Three, you must craft or buy a Pristine Oval Ash Table and bring it to Deputy Hopple. The reward is 2 silver 88 copper, experience, AA and Vale Briarwood Bookcase Plans. (Recipe is lore and tradeable, and requires a level 32 carpenter to scribe it.) The table is consumed on hand-in.

Fundraiser Four: Dagger of Doom (Leatherfoot Knuckles)

Fundraiser Four: Dagger of Doom, requires that you craft or buy a forged feyiron dagger.

Note that there are a couple issues with this quest, that can be worked around if you plan ahead

First off, what they really want is the pristine forged feyiron dagger (since versions without the pristine tag can no longer be crafted.)

The second problem, however, requires planning ahead. While you receive credit in your journal for obtaining the dagger, when you return to the Deputy, he does not have the quest journal completion book over his head, and will not give you your reward after you hail him. However, if you have not completed at least one of the other three fundraisers, you can hail him, accept one of the other quests, then hail him again for your reward for Fundraiser Four.

Successful completion of this quest results in experience, AA and the lore Leatherfoot Knuckles Design scroll, which contains the level 35 weaponsmith recipe to make the item. (You receive no coin reward, but get to keep the dagger.)
