SF: Kerra Faction

Welcome to Kerra Isle, home of the kerra and the kejek! While some visitors mistakenly believe that the small collection of huts near the launch pad are all there is to the kerra encampment, look for a path leading in to the middle of the island to find the actual kerra village.

Once the level 80+ crafter has finished buttering up the Craftkeepers in Paineel, Felice will send them on to Kerra Isle, and another large branch of the SF crafting quest series.

The faction requirements for purchase from the vendor are just slightly more creative than you are used to, so it bears a bit of explaining. There is a Kerra Isle faction and a Kerra Isle Outfitters faction. The crafting quests that involve the kerra will earn you faction will earn you both factions, though larger amounts of Kerra Isle Outfitters faction, than the more generic Kerra Isle faction. The generic Kerra Isle faction can also be earned from adventuring quests.

Most of the faction furniture from the kerra village faction merchant, Purrak, can be purchased with either 30K Kerra Isle faction or 30K Kerra Isle Outfitters faction. Three pieces, however, that are related to an adventuring quest in the area, can only be purchased with 40K of the Kerra Isle faction. (Again, crafters earn this faction in smaller amounts while questing, along with the crafter-specific faction, so you can get these, eventually - it just will take you a more runs through the daily crafting quests in order to do so.)

Recipe books from this faction are all on Kerra Isle Outfitters faction. (This means that adventuring crafters can't get the recipes any faster than non-adventuring crafters, as all faction for this faction group is earned from crafting quests, not adventuring.):

Crafter Trivia

Sometimes there are little bits of trivia hidden here and there, and Kerra Isle has a couple crafter-related ones. Chinook, your initial NPC contact for the Kerra Isle portion of the crafting quests, is the name of one of Domino's cats. Natasha and her cat Nutmeg (pictured below), who you will visit later in the questline, are the names of Mum's current cat (Natasha), as well as her 17-year-old cat that died this past summer (Nutmeg). It's a pretty close representation of the old gal, too!

Last, but not least, here are size comparison images for you!
