At the start of 2024, I announced a special set of tradeskill achievements available only in 2024. At the time, only the first monthly achievement was revealed, with the promise of further information "later." That "later" is finally here and the Febrary 27, 2024 patch reveals the entire lineup for the year. You cannot receive the awards for the achievements until the proper month arrives, but the majority of them can have been completed in advance.

The Year of Darkpaw Crafter Achievement

There is a monthly tradeskill achievement in 2024. This means that every month a new achievement will be released. For each achievement, you have from when it is released until the end of the year to complete it. For January, it is to craft 1000 items during 2024 (earlier crafting does not count), but remember, you will have the entire year to complete the achievement.

Some achievements, like the item crafting and the March harvesting quest, will be things that you have to complete once the year has started (old crafting/harvesting counts don't count). Other achievements will recognize crafting quest completions that you can have already completed. At least one of the achievements will require that you be a level 130 crafter, but remember that you have all of 2024 to reach that point.

At the end of the year there will be a master achievement requiring completion of all of the monthly tradeskill achievements. Completion of this will award two special rewards available only in 2024. If you're at the pinnacle of your crafting career, you don't want to miss this 2024 chance to show off your skilled wielding of your class.

Four achievements during the year will reward a piece of an Iron Artisan appearance set. The robe of the set went live with the "February: Recipe Roundup" achievement.

The meta achievement for completing the twelve Year of Darkpaw Artisan achievements awards not only more Year of Darkpaw Doubloons, but two special items.

The Darkpaw Crafter's Nook is an all-in-one crafting station with a very unique look that was specially created just for this event.

The Grandmaster Artisan's Staff is an appearance 2-hander that has various crafting-related particle effects rotating around it. It will also allow you the ability to summon a gnollish fuel vendor while out in the field.
