Bristlebane Day 2026

As "event season" for 2026 keeps rolling along, mischief, mayhem and pranks abound as the Bristlebane Day celebrations run amok. The event runs from March 27, 2026 through April 10, 2026, (with a few extra-special events available only on April 1.)

*Special Rules Servers - Due to expansion availability, Kael Drakkel, Varsoon and Zarrakon will be able to participate in the entire event other than "Mark of a Thief". All servers will receive the special April 1 content as well, except for "Riddled Yet Again" which will not be available on Zarrakon due to expansion availability.

In addition to all the returning content from past years, there is one new recipe book, eight new buyables, and one new limited-time (April 1) only collection. Patchcraft Zelniaks can also be found in the Unknown during this event.

New Crafted

"Perfectly Serious Items to Craft XVII" joins us this year as our newest Bristlebane Day recipe book. As with the other recipe books for this event, it requires level 2 artisan to scribe, special Bristlebane event harvestables and tier 1 and tier 2 common harvestables. The special Bristlebane harvests come from Jester's gardens, which spawn in Commonlands, Antonica, Greater Faydark, Darklight Wood, Timorous Deep, and Frostfang Sea. The book is heirloom, costs 60s and 90c and contains recipes for the following items within it (pristine combines yield 2):

Bristleberry Roll Cake
Clan Runnyeye Standard
Indigo Kaleidoscope Rug
Jocular Pinwheel (animated)
Playful Pinwheel (animated)
Purple Fangrass
Rivervale Crate
Rivervale Crate Stack
Rivervale Honey Harvest
Stump Squash
Tall Purple Fangrass
Tanned Clan Runnyeye Standard*
Thicket Fir Crate
Thicket Fir Trunk

*Tanned Clan Runnyeye Standard recipe currently has an item name of "Tanned Clan Runnyeye". It has been reported in.

New Buyables

You will find the merchant "Hilarity" in every home crafting society area selling new items, including the brand-new "Perfectly Serious Items to Craft XVI", while "Hijinks" will be near her selling all the returning buyable items. Most of these items will require the event-specific currency, Fool's Gold coins, while the new floor tile is sold for cash.

In addition to the recipe book mentioned above, the new buyable items on this merchant are:

Beloved Flying Baby Bovoch Plushie
20 tokens
Honeycomb Floor Panel
1g20s
Jokey Bristlebane Day Cap
5 tokens
Jumble of Revelry Flinger**
10 tokens
Petamorph Wand: Jovial Patchcraft Thrasher
6 tokens
Prankster's Sepia Skystride Plushie
20 tokens
Standing Totem of the Grand Prankster
10 tokens
Fun'n Games Target***
10 tokens

**Walk into the radius of this colorful whirling maelstrom to be gently tossed into the sky!
***When you activate the target, you will throw one of several items at the target.

Continuing Achievement

The "Party Sign! Excellent!" achievement which was added last year has a Bristlebane Day component. Find markable items (painting of a bovoch beauty, tower of betting tiles, Grand Prankster's banner) in various Bristlebane Day event locations and mark one to update the achievement and get one step closer to the achievement reward of recipes for event-themed borderless glass tiles if you missed tagging them last year.

April 1 Hijinks

April 1 is considered the high feast day, or "Highest of Silly Days" during the Bristlebane celebrations. Because of this there are special quests that are available only on April 1. Jester's Superior Gardens will appear in Enchanted Lands on this day carrying all the harvestable items from holiday events (Frostfell, etc., etc.) Upgraded pack ponies will also explode with loot on this day, making it a good idea to be near your harvest depot when you "burp" your pony of holiday harvests on this day. You can also chase down rabbits in many zones for the Fur Finder achievement line only on this day each year. Then there is one brand new collection that will only be found on April 1.

New Collection

The Gigglegibber Decoration Pack collection, which will reward a Jocular Clownfish Cordon, can be found only on April 1. One third of the collection can be found in the Enchanted Lands, another third is located in both Qeynos and Freeport, and the final third can be found in Antonica and the Commonlands. After you complete the collection and hand it in, you may also purchase extra Jocular Clownfish Cordon from Hilarity.

New Old Vendors Appear

Heartgar MacInnes, the Erollisi Day love loot trader reappears on April 1 in Qeynos Harbor and East Freeport so you can trade your miscellaneous love notes and hard candies into barbarian love notes. Grabby Gigglegibber, the Nights of the Dead Treat Trader, is available on this day in Qeynos and Freeport to help organize loot obtained from Jester's superior gardens.

Quest Tracker?

Casdoe of Maj'Dul has once again updated her quest tracker for this event and sent me one version in XLS format and one in PDF format. Thanks!
