Geoux, from the Antonia Bayle server, has provided us with several xls files, for those who want an easily-printable chart of the crafted weapons in any given tier, including wield style, stats, etc. He, like us, has noted several inconsistencies and oddities in weapon progression and stats, as mentioned below.
Charts
Notes
- The Fulginate halberd (tier 5) is statistically wrong, compared to other
halberds. Expect this to be corrected in a future patch.
- The Adamantine trident (tier 7) also breaks pattern, but not as badly. It
should be 34 Str/Wis, not 17.
- The Adamantine scythe is statistically wrong, compared to other scythes.
Expect this to be corrected in a future patch.
- The Xegonite katar (tier 7) has no MP. It should have some; it’s what
the progression points to. Also, it’s description flags it as both a
1H slash and 1H crush. The Claw also flags as both slash and crush.
- The Xegonite ritual dagger has low HP on it. This doesn’t look intentional.
(60 instead of 16?)
- The Xegonite rapier’s secondary stats don’t make any sense compared
to other crafted rapiers.
- The Xegonite scimitar’s stats are wrong. It should have 42 H/MP, not
18 MP
- The Xegonite trident has stats for a xegonite 1H weapon. It should be twice what it is currently.
- The Ferrite battle hammer (tier 8) looks like it should have 55 H/MP, not
80 HP/30 MP. However, both ways it adds up to 110 H/MP combines. This may
be intentional.
- Both Tier 8 knuckles are leather-based instead of metal-based now. Is this
accident or intentional?
- Both Tier 8 katars are piercing instead of slashing now. Is this intended?
- The Ferrite ritual dagger has 80 HP/30 MP. This is probably reversed.
- The Ferrite leafblade and longsword probably have too many H/MP on them.
They have 70 HP/50 MP, should have 80 HP/30 MP or 55 H/MP.
- Both Tier 8 voulges are listed as 2H-piercing weapons. They are supposed
to be 1H pierce.
- The Ferrite tomahawk should be a str/sta/agi weapon, not a str/int weapon.
- Both Tier 8 scythes actually do more damage than the other 2H weapons. Intentional?
- The Incarnadine ritual dagger has 90 HP/45 MP. This should probably be reversed.
- Comparing the stat bonuses from the Ferrite weapons to the Incarnadine ones
makes me wonder if the Ferrite ones will be tuned down in the future. They’re
a huge jump from Adamantine, and not very far removed from Incarnadine. If
they do get “nerfed”, it would probably be called for. As a weaponsmith,
of course I’d rather see the Incarnadine ones get boosted, but I don’t
think that would be very likely.
- In tier 7, they decided to make damage more interesting by varying the dmg/dly
ratios on their weapons, so it’s more than just combo 1 for 1-H weapons,
combo 2 for 2-H, and combo 3 for tridents. The ratings, however, remain the
same for all weapons in the category.
- Also in Tier 7, there appear to be no new weapons for that tier. All other
tiers, including tier 8, have new weapons each time. Having a gray background
in the Crafting Level box denotes them. It might be because of the fact they
got more creative with weapon damage, but there might be a couple new tier
7 plans down the road.
- There are a lot of unnecessary weapons that mirror each other now that dual
wield weapons have all been changed to one-handed. Examples of this are spears
and short spears. Expect a major weapon smith tradeskill patch in the future
to revise this. There’s also a good deal of weapon mirroring from when
your skills required specific weapon types to use (spears for Dragoon Spin,
for example). Now that all weapons will work with all skills, this could be
updated in the future.
Other notes from Geoux
I’ve drawn all the information I used from the charts on EQ2411.com, look for future revisions of these tables on EQ2.EQTraders.com. These charts will print out on standard sized paper in landscape format. I hope this helps you, the weaponsmith, in choosing what you need to make!

If you have corrections, suggestions, or have better luck making it nice and readable on paper, by all means let me know! I know there’s some holes in Tier 8, hopefully I can get them patched soon!
