It's often handy to know which recipes belong to which book, since all but the first starter recipes are based on book-learning. It is especially important to note for rare recipes, as, in order to make a single finished product, you will need two or three rare recipe books, as well as the normal recipe books.
Any book with "Essentials" in the name is a basic recipe book sold by the appropriate "Crafting Trainer" now located outside the crafting instances. If the book does not have "Essentials" in the name, it is a rare dropped book, and will be used only for creating items from rare harvests.
