These quests became available with the release of Game Update 54, in December of 2009, and are in addition to the repeatable writs available from these RoK factions. They require that the level 70+ crafter own the Ruins of Kunark expansion, and have completed certain other quests, so please check on requirements before traveling out there to quest!
Each group's quests cycle once every 24 hours to the next quest in the series, and you can only complete each one once per cycle. (So, if there were 5 quests in the Bathezid's watch series, and the quest-giver offers you quest A, you can complete it, then you do not get offered another quest from them until the quest-giver cycles to quest B. Quest C will become available 24 hours after that, and so on. After the 5-day cycle, the quest-giver would then offer quest A to you once again.) Meanwhile, Riliss and Danak will be similarly cycling quests, allowing you to complete 3 total "daily" quests per day. (One for each faction.)
Each quest gives you crafting xp, coin (usually in the 17g-18g range), AAXP and +2000 faction with the appropriate faction group.
It is highly recommended that you have completed the quests to gain access to the Kunark sokokar posts. (If you are a level 65 or high crafter, and are not above level 64 adventuring, there is an crafter version of the sokokar quest.)
Bathezid's Watch
The level 70+ crafter must have completed the New Lands, New Profits quest before they are able to obtain these daily quests. Your contact point is Assistant Volwon Zi'dok, located in the Bathezid's Watch portion of the Fens of Nathsar at loc 1183, 203, 1422.
Bathezid's Watch: Clamming Up
The sarnak at Bathezid's Watch value a variety of seafood in their diets. I have been asked to travel to the shores of Omen's Call and collect some fresh clams to make a nourishing stew for the troops.
Gather 15 ground-spawn clams from the beach at Omen's Call. For the frailer folk, there are non-aggro areas with respawn. Be careful around the yha-lei, as their aggro range is huge!
Bathezid's Watch: Food Foraging
Bathezid's Watch needs to replenish their stored food supplies. I have offered to aid Assistant Volwon in gathering more food harvests.
You will need 25 tier 8 food or fish harvests for this quest. If your gathering and/or fishing are not yet 340, what are you waiting for? :D (Acceptable harvests are cranberries, torsis tea leaves, cabilis cocoa beans, succulent petals, king prawns, or barracuda.)
Bathezid's Watch: Reconnaissance
I have offered to aid Volwon in tracking the location of the nearby Rilissian advancers.
Take the sokokar back to the Kylong post in the Fens, and find the "location recorder" that Volwon gave you. Avoid the aggro (rhinos, kitties and cockatrices) and tag five of the non-aggro Rilissian advancers that you find wandering around south of the stretch of the Sathirian Highway that leads from the Kylong zone to Sathir's Span.
Bathezid's Watch: Medical Necessities
Certain local herbs are frequently used by the healers of Bathezid's Watch to make medicines and healing salves for the sarnak troops. Unfortunately, these herbs are only found in the area around Riliss. Since I may be able to travel there more easily than a sarnak, I have been asked to refill their supplies.
Gather 10 ground-spawn herbs from around Riliss.
Riliss
The level 70+ crafter must have completed the New Lands, New Profits quest before they are able to obtain these daily quests. Your contact point is Assistant Zhary located in the Riliss portion of the Fens of Nathsar at loc -705, 60, -83.
Riliss: Sky Spy
The iksar of Riliss have a number of falcons they have trained to spy out information about the sarnak troops. I have been volunteered to go and release the bird near Bathezid's Watch, as the sarnak may not suspect my alliance with Riliss.
This one is pretty straightforward. Play sokokar hopscotch up to Bathezid's Watch, release the Trained Riliss Falcon that you should find in inventory, fly back to Riliss to claim your reward.
Riliss: Food Foraging
Riliss outpost needs to replenish their stored food supplies. I have offered to aid Assistant Zhary in gathering more food harvests.
Riliss: Special Delivery
The Western Pens of Riliss is running short of supplies. I have offered to aid Assistant Zhary by collecting supplies from the fence at Sathir's Span and leaving them in the supply bin in the Western Pens.
As long as you have done the sokokar quest, this one is quite straightforward.
Riliss: Poisonous Intentions
Certain types of spiders are frequently used by the assassins of Bathezid's Watch to make a particularly deadly poison. These spiders are found around the burrows of the Burynai, who are immune to their poison. I have been asked to refill their supplies and - very carefully - gather a bag full of these spiders.
If you don't have the Bellywhumper Burrows sokokar post set, setting it the first time that you get this quest is a "good thing". Head northeast, playing dodge-panther as you go, until you get to the Bellywhumper Burrows area, overlooking the Field of Bone. The spiders are small and on the ground, and there should be plenty of them scattered around the blissfully non-aggro area of the burrows.
Legion of Danak
The level 75+ crafter must have not only completed New Lands, New Profits, but also the quest High Risks, Higher Profits, before they are able to obtain these daily quests. Your contact point is Assistant Sziths, located in the Danak Shipyard part of Jarsath Wastes at -179, -33, 1090.
As an added word of warning, whenever you need to wander past the walls of the Danak Shipyards, back into the rest of Jarsath Wastes, please be careful, as there is a very grumpy level 83^^^ ghost, General V'Deers.
Danak Shipyards: Defending the Defenders
The Danak Shipyards have manufactured some barricades to fortify the front lines. I have been asked to take a number of these to Ganak's Battlement and set them up on the east side to protect the batallion stationed there.
The safest way to do this is to take the sokokar post back to Howling Stones, then run east along the road until you get to Ganak's Battlement. Skitter out to the east side, and drop some barricades where you find some Danak Protectors. Be careful of the incoming Dracurion Skyguards, and try to time your drops for after the protectors have engaged them in combat.
Danak Shipyards: Food Foraging
The Danak Shipyards need to replenish their stored food supplies. I have offered to aid Assistant Sziths in gathering more food harvests.
Danak Shipyards: Relic Research
The Legion of Danak is interested in studying the relics that have been recovered from around the submerged region known as Chelsith. I have been asked to scour the ocean floor to see if I can find any more relics that might be similar.
Grabbing five relics from the area around Chelsith doesn't sound like a job for any of the more flimsy crafters, but this quest actually is doable for lower-level folks, once you not only know where you're going, but various "safe" paths to get there. You'll also need to have some form of water breathing handy, as you will be trundling about underwater for a bit.
Different folks approach this from the beaches west or east of Chelsith, as there's no way for a low-level to survive (without being summoned), diving in from the spot of beach closest to Chelsith. Here's what works for me (tested with a level 48 mystic on Test):
Mum's Method: Start out in Danak. As you exit Danak, keep a careful eye out for that grumpy ghost General V'Deers, and dodge as needed. Hang a hard left as you exit through the main arch in the walls of Danak, run through the tiny graveyard, and then run South along the beach. You'll find a male halfling, Gamble Blitherton, swinging a mining pick at 126, -50, 1393. This is a good spot to triple-check that you have some sort of water breathing active, as you're about to run out of beach. Be VERY careful as you dip your toes in, as you may need to watch out for a pathing shark. Other than that one shark, however, as long as you don't hit the water until that finger of rock sticking out to the southwest of Gamble, and swim due west from there, you should bypass the rest of the aggro.
Danak Shipyards: Jibsnapper Megalops
The dangerous Jarsath Jibsnapper crabs found in the Azure Cradle near Danak Shipyards are not so dangerous, and in fact very tasty, when they are young. I have been asked to scour the edges of the crater and bring back some of the tasty jibsnapper crab younglings to feed the Legion of Danak.
This one isn't bad for a low-level adventurer, once you've learned your way around enough to know where not to wander. Play dodge-mob to the western half of the Azure Cradle (that big meteor & crater right outside Danak), and grab all the little jibsnapper megalops. Yes, there are aggro jibsnappers lurking in the water of the crater, so watch your step, ok? Bag 10 of the little baby crabs, then scamper back to Danak for your reward.
